Install VLC Media Player
Step 1. The first command will update the package lists to ensure you get the latest version and dependencies.
sudo yum install epel-release sudo yum update
Step 2. Install VLC Media Player on CentOS 7.
First, add RPM Fusion repository on your CentOS system:
sudo yum install https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/rpmfusion-free-release-7.noarch.rpm
After enabled all the required repositories on your system. let’s install VLC media player using the following command:
sudo yum install vlc
Step 3. Start VLC.
You can launch the VLC player either from the command line by typing vlc or by clicking on the VLC Media Player icon (Applications → Sound & Video → VLC media player).
