Install PhpStorm on CentOS

Step 1. The first command will update the package lists to ensure you get the latest version and dependencies.

sudo dnf update

Step 2. Install PhpStorm on CentOS.

First, we will download PhpStorm using the official PhpStorm download page:

sudo wget

Next, extract the downloaded package:

tar -xvf PhpStorm-2018.3.2.tar.gz
cd PhpStorm-2018.3.2

Create a symbolic link using the following command:

sudo ln -s ./PhpStorm-2018.3.2/bin/ /usr/bin/phpstorm
